JK ARB Twin Compressor Mounting Kit
Designed for the 2007 - 2018 JK Wrangler, the MetalCloak Twin Compressor mount is laser cut from 1/8" Cold Rolled Steel and CNC bent for a precision fit -- then given a Gold Zinc Chromate bath for a long lasting finish.
This bracket keeps your engine compartment looking good by providing a custom mounting location for the ARB Twin Compressor system or similar sized air compressor units.

This is my first Metal Cloak product and I’m very impressed. Easy install and makes for a very clean final product. It’s pretty tight under the hood of a JK but they managed to fit the ARB twin compressor right in there. 100% would recommend this mount.

I like that this fits under the hood but learned a few things along the way. The mount is firm and secure but a tight fit with my relay system installed as well touching the input for the wiring.The biggest issue I have is the heat under the hood. I tried an after market braided steel line (rated for 300lbs) that failed. I believe this was due to the heat. I replaced the flexible steel line with hard steel piping and universal joints.Not sure if the arb manifold and line would have the same issue or not. This mount seems to have some options to mount this as well. The heat coming out of the compressor is problem enough but engine heat puts heat over the top.I have access to the brake fill but I do have to remove the lid to open the compressor lid. Since I dont don this more than once hopefully its a non issue.My issue is not with the mount but I question the my wisdom of putting this under the hood. I would also mention theft is possible but no more than inside the jeep with the doors off. Adding a lock to the hood does not interfere with doorless days and keeps the compressor secure so its a better security option.Originally I planned to plumb flex line to each tire but because of the heat in this location I am leaving it with a simple quick connect instead and using an external air hose when needed instead. This would matter if I were using air lockers but I am not as I am not sure how reliable this location would be for these in this heated location.The mount has held up well and leaves some room on top but not much. I have put some marks in the insulation but no dents in the hood.Overall I would purchase again but if I had air lockers i would mount in a different location.
