I've tried a couple of latex brands (this one is latex) and silicone. The latter invariably pops off my sights. I cannot get it to stay.This latex WILL eventually snap. I advise replacing before each hunting season. That's the nature of the material, not a knock against this product. Latex is all I use for peep sights.

Cheap and easy to install. Was enough to do three bows. Hoping it holds up a lot longer than the stuff that came only hoyt.
