The mounting board is also compatible with 4x4 wooden posts and can be screwed in directly with additional hardware. Made from polypropylene plastic that offers outstanding strength and stability, it's treated with an ultraviolet inhibitor to provide long-term service.

Perfect fit for our new mailbox. (After 30 years) Got the mailbox for 75% off, but no mounting bracket anywhere. Two seconds on Amazon and we had this sturdy bracket that fit the mailbox and the post perfectly. No shims or super long screws needed.

This was very easy to install. All you need is a handful of screws, which are not provided. Then it’s just a matter of screwing it into the post.
