Very happy with this windbreaker. The shell is nice and lightweight and the lining keeps it from sticking to your skin uncomfortably. I don't think it would keep you dry in a steady/heavier rain like a true raincoat, but since that is not what I wanted this is great. My son said it worked great for providing a light cover-up in warmer weather to shield from wind and a light drizzle.

It’s soft, my son is comfortable in it. It’s perfect for rainy days and it’s light weight. Perfect purchase. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!!

Great light weight and “waterproof” jacket. I purchased this for my 8 yr old grandson to wear to school on those days he needed something light weight and for those days when it’s raining and he needs something to keep him dry. I say “waterproof” as he doesn’t get wet while he’s waiting in the pickup line at school. (He hasn’t been in any torrential downpours, so I can’t claim that this is 100% waterproof.) Overall I’m very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to friends and family.He’s 4’3” tall and weighs 115 pounds. He’s at that chubby stage, but the jacket fits him well with plenty of room to grow.

I bought three jackets for my average-sized 9 year old daughter to try on. Of the three I purchased, this brand was her favorite! I know these are “boys” jackets but I pass all of my oldest’s jackets down to siblings (3 more kids) so as long as the colors are neutral it works for any gender.Her first comment was how soft the material was. It’s lightweight and not stiff like some of the other jackets we own.Although we haven’t tried it out in the rain, it will definitely hold up in wind and cool temps. It’s the perfect windbreaker.I purchased a Medium (8-10) and my daughter is 9yrs old 68lbs. I was hoping/expecting it to be big on her because we needed her to be able to grow into it and for it to last a while. It fit exactly as I expected.
