Worked for what we needed but I have a petite boy and these were like a men’s medium on my 12 year old… fitted at the ankles but loose everywhere else and he usually wears a men’s small or a 28.. these were way too big

My son plays a variety of sports and loves to pair with shorts so he’s always ready to play. Fit and quality is good for the price

My 14-year-old wore these skiing in relatively cold conditions. He is never cold, so he really liked that these were on the thinner side. If you need or want warmth, I suggest looking at a thicker pair or a fleece lined pair, but if you just need an under layer for snow pants, these are perfect. They were a little loose and not tight fitting on my son when I ordered his actual size, but he didn’t complain and probably wouldn’t have liked a more tight fitting pair. If you want a tight fit, you may have to order down.

This is a good baselayer for moderate temps and activities. If you are going to go out in anything below 10 F I'd suggest something a little thicker, but we've used these for skiing in 20-30 degree weather and they've worked out well under snow pants with no mid layer. Like any good polyester textile these wick moisture really well, and don't get smelly. However they don't have the thermal properties of wool, especially not at this fabric weight. That being said I think this is exactly what I would want for kids in the climate where I live (where anything under 20 F is uncommon). I don't see spending a lot of $$$ on Merino wool just so the can outgrow them in a year.Overall for the price and quality, this is a good product that will probably meet the needs of most kids in the kinds of winter conditions they would actually be out it. However for anything approaching "serious" conditions I would look at other products, or at least make sure you have a good mid layer.

I'm glad that other customers have liked this so much. But in my opinion these aren't that good. The shirt that comes in the same color is awful(I wrote a review for that too)These pants aren't great either. They are just okay. The material to me isn't anything special. My regular reebok yoga pants have the same kinda material. It is waterproof I'd give it that. The stitching on the inside is terrible. It scratches against the skin and makes it irritated. I wouldn't wear this and definitely not letting this near my kid.

The base layer pants came within 2 days of ordering. There was no odor when I pulled these from the package. They fit good and seem to be quality made. I ordered the size I wear and they fit like they should. They are comfortable to wear. They fit and feel just like compression pants that you would wear for sports or working out. This makes it easier to wear under your ski pants. These are good to use as a base layer. I would definitely recommend purchasing.

This is a decent lighter weight base layer for snow sports, but the quality does not justify the price. The quality is comparable to many off-brand options available on Amazon for $10-$15 each. However, the price of this item is more in line with higher quality options offered by some well-known brand names. I would not pay full price for this item. If it is on sale and you can get it of for $15 or less, it is a decent option. However, if this item is full price at the time you are making a purchase, I'd recommend either looking for a lower priced off-brand option that has good reviews (there are plenty) or if you want to spend more, go with a trusted name brand that offers higher quality gear.
