I bought this on sale in the summer. Today was the first time being able to wear the coat. My son came home from school and told me the inside of his coat was ripped. The lining ripped away from the jacket.This is disappointing.

I ordered this coat for my 6 year old son. It fits him well and he says it’s comfortable. It’s not a super heavy or bulky coat, but it is warm. I’d say it’s more for the fall or spring time. It seems like very good quality. After washing and drying it, it did not shrink. I would definitely purchase this coat again.

We loved our two Arctic winter coats last year so much that I decided to size up in the same brand. Unfortunately, this arrived with an inoperable zipper. Appears one of the zipper teeth is malformed. Also noted sloppy/extra threads that I had already cleaned up before discovering that those were not the cause of the issue. Disappointing for the price and now back ordered for more in the same print/color.

This jacket worked well for my son on our Ski trip, keeping him warm and dry the entire time.

Cute coat. Love the bright colors. Ordered this for my newly 10 year old son. The color is perfect so I can always see him easily at school pick up during the cold months. Love that the hand holes can be tightened or loosened depending on what he’s doing or wearing. He wears a size 10/12 (boys medium or large) and I ordered a large. This will have to wait for next winter though because it’s labeled a 14/16 and just a bit too large to be comfortable on him.

I was surprised that a jacket labeled as "run around" is more like a winter snow coat. I did think that this one would be lighter weight, easy for daily playground/park play, than for snow. It's not too bulky, but is stiffer material (unlike puffer jackets).We do get snow where we live, and ski almost every weekend, so this coat will get a lot of use. I like that the end of the sleeves and the bottom of the coat are darker colors to hide some of the inevitable dirt between washings.I got size XL for my 12 year old daughter (76lbs, 4'11") and it's a bit big on her. The L would fit her, but it would be shorter on the sleeves and would only get one season out of it, so keeping the XL and cuffing up the sleeves. Also, the larger size is easy to layer under.Overall, nice coat. I liked the jacket its good but to be honest I dodnt like the stitching its not neat. You can clearly see the different color stitching thread over other color. For intance red threas over blue and then breaking off of red thread and blue starting. Besides that I would say the jacket is nice and warm to keep you safe during the cold weather. I must say I am highly impressed by the quality of material used. The outer layer is rugged and the best part is it being water proof, while the inner layer feels comfortable and smooth. The filling is perfectly done.Talking about the size, well I think it runs a little bit bigger than expected for my son, giving him kinda much room to grow and being able to wear for next year so order accordingly.Overall it’s a warm and nice jacket in all regards.

This jacket is excellent for super cold winters! We live in northern Wisconsin, or it can be below freezing 6 months (or more) out of the year. Having high quality snow gear is a must! And this jacket should be perfect.I ordered it for my preteen daughter, a size up from what she normally wears. And I think it fits exactly as expected. It's a tiny bit big on her now, which means she'll be able to wear it comfortably now, and again next season too. As mom who has bought tons of snow gear over the years, I almost always size up.This jacket in particular feels like it is made out of high quality materials. She says it is very warm too. And I like how the bottom of the jacket is a darker color, which is the part that gets dirty so it will hide dirt well. And the tri-color patter is unique, so I'll be able to pick her out in a crowd. I have nothing but good things to say about this coat. She loves it and we're both impressed.

I am thoroughly impressed by the quality of materials here. It has a rugged exterior layer that sheds water and has a standard flap behind the zipper so as to keep the wind out. It is easy to use the zipper as well with zero snags to date. The interior layer is a silky smooth material backed with a thin, but very effective, insulation. The interior is super soft. The exterior fabric reminds me a bit of Gore-tex in texture, but stiffer and thicker is how I would describe it. It would be a good idea to follow up with some rainproof spray from time to time as it will help keep the water repellant nature as the outer fabric starts to loosen up. The color is pretty close to what I saw in the picture, in fact, I was happier with the look of it once I got it. My son is wearing the Formula One Red version and is super happy about it. It is definitely worth the money though. I have some other gear from Arctix and all of them are higher quality than I would have expected for the price. It isn't exactly bargain bin pricing, but it is super durable. My daughter has some thermal pants and a whole body snowsuit from Arctix is use right now.
