It is a new generation easy-to-apply mortar that can serve as a floor leveling compound in indoor and outdoor applications. It is a cement-based, flexible, and durable acrylic polymer mortar with extended coverage, excellent bonding strength and extra long pot life (60 minutes). It simplifies the application process with its easy-to-follow instructions, which makes it accessible for home improvement DIY projects of all scales. This cement mix mortar is ideal for almost all covering materials, such as autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC), balconies, patios, swimming pools, high-load commercial areas, exterior floors, and walls. The mortar features freeze and thaw resistance and an extended open time of up to 30 minutes. The Ardex X 90 guarantees durability, aesthetics, and reliability, making installation a breeze. It features weatherproof technology and outstanding rapid-setting properties, even over substrates with temperatures as low as 40 F (5 C). Its microtec technology provides heavy and driving rain resistance. The Ardex X 90 provides the highest levels of efflorescence resistance for exterior tile and stone applications. It is thin to medium bed installations up to 5/8” (15 mm) and grouts after just 2 hours. This mortar can be applied beneath a range of infloor tiles (bathroom tile), such as ceramic tile, porcelain tile, granite tile, marble tile, mosaic tile, and natural stone tile.
