These are heavy duty skid plates that are reversible for extended wear unlike the originals on my old Ariens snowblower which is still going strong after 25 years. The hardware is included. I couldn't be more pleased.

So glad these came with new hardware since the existing hardware was pretty rusty. The metal thickness on the shoes seems slightly thicker which is great. The price from this seller was much cheaper than purchasing directly from the Ariens website which was a bit surprising as well.

Purchased these to replace 12 year old worn out skid shoes on my Ariens Deluxe 28. These are OEM replacements which include all the mounting hardware. When compared to aftermarket parts, I'm glad I spent a few additional dollars for OEM. Obviously they were a perfect fit and look forward to another 12+ years of use.

Part is fine but is not orange like the original. Mine arrived and are black...still seem ok but not as shown in picture.

I replaced the original composite shoes with these because the composite versions wore down in no time & cost $35. These were cheaper & are reversable. This created 3 minor problems. 1) The bolts included with the Ariens skids were 3/8"; my Simplicity uses 8mm. 2) The Simplicity composite skids were much thicker, so the bolts were much longer than necessary for the Ariens metal skids. 3) The slots in the Ariens skids were wider to accommodate the 3/8" hardware. I kept the Simplicity 8mm bolts & used a stack of washers.

These are Ariens made, come in the Ariens cardboard box, extra heavy duty, well painted with the original bright orange. These are reversible and very thick, so they will last many years. Comes complete with the stainless steel hardware you'll need. These are 3" from center to center of the mounting slots, which I believe is the Ariens standard. Best quality you can get. If you are thinking of saving a few bucks with some other knock-off, I would not recommend it.
