This particular model is constructed from strong carbon steel and finished in a durable E-coat and semi-gloss black powder coat finish to outlast rust and the elements. Other available finishes include high-gloss black stainless steel, polished stainless steel and textured black steel. Customizing the look of your vehicle is simple with the ARIES 3" bull bar. It is equipped with pre-drilled light mounting holes and a removable skid plate. The center crossbar features two pre-drilled holes that readily accept an LED light bar or two LED work lights. The skid plate is made from 304 stainless steel and has a brushed finish to stop rust and hide scratches and scuffs. It also features an aggressive, ARIES-exclusive cutout pattern and can be removed for a customized look. Each ARIES 3" bull bar is made a vehicle-specific design, meaning that for each make and model, the bull bar has a custom bend and unique mounting brackets. This allows for the best possible fit on your vehicle and ensures solid attachment. The brackets also use pre-existing factory holes in the vehicle's frame to eliminate drilling, speed up installation and increase rigidity. This bull bar fits select model years of the Nissan Frontier, Pathfinder and Xterra (see application info to verify fitment).

I bought an Aries Bull Bar for my 2013 Nissan Frontier Truck. While reviewing various online videos, I noticed discrepancies in the installation methods; for example, one person installed the brackets incorrectly. Despite following less-than-ideal instructions, the bull bar's quality is superior to others. However, due to subpar shipping methods, each fastening tip arrived slightly bent. Regarding installation, it's important to retain the two bolts after removing the "tow hook," as they are reused to install the bull bar bracket along with the two provided bolts. The fine-threaded bolts are specifically for securing the brackets underneath the truck, matching the original "tow hook" bolts. Installing the fastening bracket was relatively straightforward. Just be cautious not to over-tighten it before attaching the bull rack, as adjustments may be necessary, especially if the tips are bent from shipping. For certain models of the Nissan Frontier, removing the lower front plastic piece, which is screwed in, may be necessary for the bull bar to fit. Some opt to "cut to fit" this plastic piece, but that approach didn't suit my preference. During the bull bar attachment, it's helpful to have someone assist by holding it in place for proper bolt tightening. Use the four provided bolts, complete with regular and lock washers, for this step. My truck's front license plate holder initially obstructed the process, but I adjusted the bull bar without removing it. For aesthetic reasons, you might consider removing the license plate holder and acquiring a bracket that attaches to the bull bar. In summary, I endorse this bull bar and advise using thread-locking adhesive during installation, as I'm not entirely convinced of its long-term stability without it.

Highly recommend I totaled my truck hit three pine trees and took out two fence post and the bar was perfect. Also pushed trees out of the road and hit buggies all the time!!

The first one of these I received was dented but Amazon replaced without any issue. Easy to install and didn't impact approach angle as much as suggested or as much as other makes. Nice finish.

Pretty happy with this buy. Bought it for my fiancee to put on her Xterra. Got it in two days after I ordered it. No damage to the bar at all. Super easy to put on. Took about 15 minutes. Fits perfect (2013 Nissan Xterra) and didn't have any problems putting it on, though it is a little loose feeling before you tighten the bolts. so you want to have a friend told it in the position you want it. Gives it a little bit of an aggressive look."Note to anyone with road rage or looking to buy for an actual guard of any type. This isn't what you want. This is just all for looks over function."

I was told the bar would fit on a Nissan Xterra and it did after buying all new hardware along with 5 extra washers on each side as spacers. Without the washers you can not lift the bar up because it hits the bumper. Also the first bar I got was all dented and scratched the seller was fast responding and I got a new one. The bar is decent quality just installation was a nightmare.

Fast shipping, and it had all the right hardware, very easy to install everything fitted like a glove. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars was because of a small dent on one of the sides, however it could of happen from shipping.
