I like these trunks. They fit well and are well made. The "mesh lining" that the listing mentions is actually a fine mesh lining inside the front panel of the trunks to help prevent any imprints of what is behind. They have a good shape to the front so things look nice without being too revealing. I have a size 30 waist and the medium fit perfect so I would say their size chart is correct. Overall a good pair of swim trunks.

This is a striking pair of fitted swim trunks - especially if you get the bright aqua blue version. The patterned waistband add playfulness to the style. The kind of skimpy trunks you wear to be noticed but of course also good to swim in as it will have minimum drag. Quality is good with smooth stretchy fabric, all the stitches in right place. Frontside is fully lined with thin material but backside is just one layer. Suitable to wear in an environment where everyone is wearing similar trunks otherwise it would seem too revealing.

These square cut form-fitting swimming trunks have a nice comfortable feel, an excellent ratio of material front and back, a fun waistband, supportive and roomy pouch, however, it doesn’t dry quickly, and does reveal a silhouette of what is underneath.I am 190 pounds, 6-feet tall, and I usually wear a size 34 or “Large”. At the time of order, assessing their size chart, I bought these in “XL” and ended up being a really good fit.The material is stretchy and will definitely wrap around your shape, but leaves enough room in the front to comfortably support you. You do get a slight “bulge” but I believe this is by design. While it may sound scandalous, it actually looks natural. Hard to explain. Basically, it would likely be too much at a family gathering with kids, but would look right at home on a sunny California beach.The ratio of material placed in front and back is very aesthetically pleasing as you get a nice “square” appearance without looking bulky or skimpy. When wet, these aqua swim briefs do become less modest as you get a VPL. Even when dry, you do see a VPL and a noticeable bulge.The waistband color and style is a very nice complement to the bright aqua blue and helps create elasticity to stay around your torso.However, the material doesn’t really dry quickly. During testing, these were still wet after 2 hours and remained damp for many hours after. However, it does dry quicker out in the sun and with the wind, but still does not dry as quickly as some other traditional swimsuit materials.What you get is a really well made traditional square compression swimsuit that has a satisfying ratio of materials in front and back with a fun and complementary waistband contrasting a bold aqua color. It’s very comfortable and has the perfect amount of room in the pouch, however, it is subtly on display. It does lose its modesty when wet as you can faintly see what is underneath but would arguably still be appropriate at many adult beaches. Just be prepared for the attention they will draw.I actually really like these and how I look in them. I will certainly wear them on vacation, but probably not at my public pool with children.4.5 out of 5 stars

I am super in love with these... they look so nice and also feel great. Really nice design and modern style... will surely turn heads at the pool or beach. Can't wait to wear them this summer. I've tried them on and the material feels great no pinching or improper fit... I'm getting a snug fit for size m as expected. I really see them as a high quality pair of swim trunks... Think they would be great for light swimming in the pool or ocean. Great overall value for these and I would certainly recommend them to others who are wanting a modern updated look for this summer. Also I really like the trunks style, thats nice too.

I like these! I have always worn typical bathing suits, most of which look like baggy shorts from the 1980s. This was a refreshing change, and feels much more athletic and sexy. The medium is a touch small on my 31" waist, but if i shed a few pounds, it will be perfect.

This is a swing suit, and it does function as one. One minor thing you may want to consider, the liner is not so much a liner but a light fabric. You may not want to wear these around a family area pool, or public area where family will be. They will outline your stuff very well, which I include the rear area as well.They are not bad, just not any modesty to them.
