My 2006 street Glide has a rear lowering kit and the stock kickstand held the bike up too straight. This kickstand corrected that issue.My only complaint is that it uses a nut instead of the OEM bolt for mounting the kickstand locking bracket and the mounting nut is not included.

This kickstand is garbage!! It did not even have a stopper bar on it to prevent it hitting the primary, looks like it was welded by a blind person, absolute trash!! DO NOT BUY!! Returning to Amazon for refund, this is not an Arlen Ness, looks nothing like the photo shown on Amazon.

Like the quality. The only thing I would suggest is that they supply a bigger rubber stop. The kick stand is really close to the primary cover with the stock one.

For my 2011 Road Glide, Amazon fitment chart told me it would not fit, Arlen Ness chart said it did. So did other vendors. I installed it and it works fine. My bike has air suspension and this kickstand works with the bike in the weeds. Did have to add additional bumper to the frame because end of kickstand contacts the primary.

Since my Harley has been lowered and inch it sits more upright and is less stable on the stock kickstand. The Arlen Ness lowered kickstand leans my bike over a little more and makes it harder to knock over. I am pleases with this kickstand and installation was a breeze. The only complaint I have is no fault of the product. Since the kickstand is shorter, the extension that is bolted to it hits my floorboards so I had to set it at an angle to miss the floorboard. All in all the lowered kickstand does just what I bought it for. Thank you Arlen Ness.

No longer dragging on the ground like OE one's when openning. Bike could be a little more tilt when parked, My street glide has a lowered forks. So i guess for standard Touring it is perfect.
