There are multiple variations of SKUs listed for sale on this page. My review is for the Wire to Wire T Connector. My review is simple: I've used this connector since May, and it has worked flawlessly in its operation since then, as one might naturally expect.

These made tapping into the main 12V line for my LED run extraordinarily easy and I highly recommend picking these up.

This is the second type of tape light connector I bought from Armacost. These are better than their other model, but not by much. Once you lock in either end, that is it, the lock is on. You can unlock the unit, but it is tough and you will most likely end up breaking one side of the clip to open it up again. While they are better than the other ones, be wary as these will also require a lot of work to get them to work properly.

I can't say enough about how much I hate Armacost lighting connectors. If I could have given them a negative star rating I would. I love their lights but not their connectors. I cut the tape lights at the copper, not down the middle but left it long to provide it maximum contact area. I then peeled back the backing a bit and scraped the glue from the tape off of the connector portion. Inserted lighting tape fully, click connector closed......nothing happens. They are extremely Finicky, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. I have the lights installed under my cabinets, under my toe kicks and above some of my cabinets for back lighting. 3 of the 10 sections intermittently work. I have had to take two of them apart to get them running again. SOOO frustrating. The other one so far had only needed me to jiggle the wire. Not sure if any of the other more expensive brands are better because i haven't used them, but these are junk save yourself some frustration and buy something else. f you can get away with not needing the connectors you'll be better off. The lights themselves come with hardwired leads on both ends so you would not need connectors if you aren't doing multiple runs per roll. Good luck!

Not sure why there are so many reviews of these not snapping closed..... Maybe I got lucky? use electrical pliers and squeeze the connection closed. It snaps on each side of the connector so put pressure on each side until it fully locked... works as expected in my opinion

The contact clips only have terminals on one side. The LED tape generally has contacts on both top and bottom but the ones on the bottom are covered in glue. If you don't scrape off the glue, these clips will only make contact one way and will not work if "upside down".
