Sleek design, well put together. The dial light is off at night and can be activated by placing your hard over the top of the clock. Works through proximity detection. Coot. The problem is, when activated at night in a dark room the light is bluish-while and blinding. Deal breaker, at least for me.

This is the third such clock I own; others purchased long ago continue to work perfectly. It is easy to change time and replace batteries. I like the sound of the alarm...it is gentle but awakens successfully.

I was looking for a classic bedside clock, mid-century modern feel. This clock fit all the design aspects i was looking for. Unfortunately the hands do not glow and there is no backlight to see what time it is in the middle of the night. You can tap the top and the clock will light up momentarily - but who wants to do that when they roll over to check the time? I will be replacing this clock with a digital clock and move this to another location in my house. I like the clock, just not a good bedside clock.

Beautiful as a clock. Very poor as an alarm, the reason I bought it. Returned.

So pleased to have finally found an analog bedside table clock of quality design, with a light & alarm, and a face big enough to read/view when drowsy night. Yah - no more digital products in the bedroom for me!

I purchased this clock because I loved the simplicity and beautiful design of the clock, and I wanted a simple alarm clock to replace having my phone at the bedside. The clock arrived and was all of those things. Until about 2-3 months in to having it, when the alarm feature stopped working correctly. The alarm would be set, but rather than alarming it would only chirp, or the alarm would go off and would not stop when I snoozed it. I thought perhaps the batteries were low (though again, only had it for 2-3 months), but replacing the batteries did not improve the alarm capability. I have since had to stop using the clock due to it's unreliability. And because of the 30-day return policy having expired, I cannot exchange this clock to see if a new clock would function as it should.

Beautiful and the alarm is not offensive. Accuracy on the alarm setting is perhaps to the closest 15 minutes.

This is a beautiful clock. So simple and classic. Well, its Arne Jacobsen! The alarm is a gentle little bell, a pleasant awakening. Has a snooze and light feature. Removing the rear to adjust the alarm is a bit of added effort, but not done often, no big deal. Overall, great clock if you have the budget.

Easy like sunday morning. Nochmal Chapeau! Es gibt Sie noch die guten Dinge.

Beautiful 20th century design. How often do you glance at a clock and come away thinking, "That is so neat!"? The face dips from the outside and peaks slightly in the center--fascinating. Proximity sensors serve to snooze the alarm or light the dial momentarily, when you put your hand about 1/2" above the top of the clock. This one is for me, but the Jacobsen Station clock will be a default gift for friends love great design from now on.
