My cable company started charging me for modem rental so I returned it and bought my own. This works with a land line where many do not. It is supported by Optimum.

Individual plug to plug compatible two original modem supplied by cable company. Installation and activation without any difficulty. Will pay for itself by eliminating rental fees within a year. Jumpin Jumpin
