These ARROW pliers are surprisingly sturdy for their size. I keep them in my apartment toolbox for quick fixes – adjusting furniture, tightening things around the house, that kind of thing. The grip is excellent, which is a plus when dealing with smaller screws or nuts. They're a bit pricey for the size, but worth it for their build quality.

These pliers are OK. They are far from great though. The fit and finish of them is kind of poor. The edges are oddly sharp. Much sharper than they should be. They don't slip or anything when using lots of torque though so that is important. The rubber insulation is pretty bulky. This is not necessarily a bad thing. When putting the jaws into the secondary position, the rubber insulation keeps the handles from closing very tight. Having said all of this, these pliers are currently only $8.39. For the quality of these pliers, I consider this price acceptable. I am calling these 4 stars.

I ordered the 8 inch size in these pliers. This is a good size for most jobs. Overall these pliers are made pretty well although there are two aspects of it that seem subpar. First, sides of the pliers appear to not be the too high quality. They look rough, not as smooth sided as other pliers. Second, the metal pin holding the pliers together on one side is just flattened out to hold it together. I'm used to see better connecting pin setups. Both these issues are not really big deals and don't really affect the operation of the pliers so I knocked of just one star on the overall rating. To make up for those two issues with me though, I must admit, the red rubber cushioned handles are very nice. They are provide a nice feel with a great cushioned gripping service. Overall though, a good set of pliers very much worthy of keeping in your toolbox.

These pliers are sturdy and function well. The grips are comfortable and seem like they will stay on without slipping. The only thing I don't care for are the sharp edges around the outside of the jaws. Not sharp enough to cut but they give the pliers a bit of an unfinished/cheap look.

I'm quite impressed by the quality of these pliers. They are well made and have a solid feel. The steel material is very strong. The rubber handles are also well made. They are a standard, slip joint style. I have the 8" size. They are not loose, nor overtightened. I would recommend these pliers and consider them to be a good value for the price.

These 6 inch slip joint pliers from Arrow will be fine for almost all of the general purpose squeezing and twisting things that I need or use pliers for. The hardened steel construction will allow these to be used on projects where you can apply a good grip with hand pressure. The rubberized coating on the handles is fine for now however, I have found that this type of coating typically stretches, loosens or tears, and eventually it just has to be removed. However, while it lasts it provides a softer grip area for your hands and fingers.I note that the traditional bolt and nut fastening for the slip hinge is replaced with a riveted piece, which should prevent it from loosening up, however it also eliminates the potential for any adjustment on the joint should the need arise. I observe that there is a spacing between the jaws which cannot be eliminated, and this is most noticeable in cutting a wire, like a copper electrical wire because it doesn't cut cleanly but leaves a burred or gnarly edge.All in all an OK tool to add to your set. You will use it more frequently than any tool other than just your fingers.
