My wife dressed our kid in this set for a party, and it looked sharp. The fabric is soft, and the textured shirt adds a nice touch. But the shorts are huge—he had to roll them up—and the shirt shrank after washing, so now it’s a bit snug. It’s a cute outfit, just not perfectly sized.

Cute set! The shorts are a little longer than pictured, and we definitely ordered a size too big (if you’re thinking to order up because of the common sizing differences, don’t! Regular sizing works for this set.

My son hayes button down shirts but liked the looseness and freedom of this outfit. He wore it to our Easter service and was told how nice he looked. He's wears a size 14-16 which is usually loose but we purchase according to his age 10-11 and it fit well... Will purchase in pink.

Will your kids complain about having to wear a button up shirt?? Yes, yes they will! BUT this outfit is super cute according to mom, cringe according to an 8 year old. The material is light, it is very slightly see through, and I really like the material texture. It is true to size. Perfect for a beach day or country summer wedding. It’s a good value for me as I’ll only be able to bribe them once to wear it.
