Daughter wanted this for Christmas and she LOVES it!!! We had a blast showing each other tricks and learning new ones. Definitely took me back to my childhood.

Remember those hand held string games you played at recess as a child? These bring those days back. I bought this set so I could pass the fun on to a new generation. They don’t come with instructions but instructions are easy to find online or you can buy a string games book or check one out from your local library. Klutz also makes a String Games book but only comes with one string where here you get 12. So many options, and they fit easily in a pocket or purse. These are great for a quiet activity wherever you have to wait or for a plane flight. They are bright and colorful, thicker than making your own, and no knots to get in the way. They would also make great party favors. My special needs granddaughter is improving her coordination with hers and likes to make kitty whiskers. My grandson likes to make the Eiffel Tower.

So these strings do work for playing Cats an the Cradle and other yarn games. They are rainbow bright. The strings don't have much stretch to them so you need to take that into account. They are long enough to have enough for easily using with a partner. Fun pack to have for party favors or for use in a classroom.

These are great. I thought of making my own, after all it is just strings, but for the price these are, hands down, a better option. Besides, I would not be able to make the seam flush like these ones are. I love the colors, the feel of satin string and the fact that the loops are big enough for even adult hands. Best part, the set comes with 12 of these, perfect to share which a class.
