My Lenovo laptop's keyboard failed. I bought another laptop, but kept the old one for backup. I got tired of using the onscreen keyboard or USB KB when I would update software.I found this and am very pleased! It fits perfectly on top of the laptop's keyboard. and is not too heavy. The backlight is nice, I just wish it had a basic white BL like standard laptops have. The keyboard keys feel good and responsive.Connectivity was easy to setup and it maintains a good BT connection.I also bought the protective case for it and it is also high quality.

I've had my Arteck HB220B for close to 2 years now. It's been very reliable, and I like that the keys are spread out enough that it feels like a standard keyboard. Very cool how they can light up too and you can select different colors. Also like that there are 3 different Bluetooth modes selectable at the touch of the respective blue key.....so I have 1 blue key programmed for using with my laptop, another programmed for use with my tablet, and the 3rd for using the keyboard with my cellphone if need be. Easy to recharge with the the USB Port, and you can continue using it as it's recharging.

I wanted a small size keyboard with backlighting and I was surprised to find one with such a low price. I’m a touch typist and I really appreciate a good keyboard. However, this is for occasional use, not daily, so I was willing to compromise a little. I have a small notebook PC that has a chiclet keyboard, so I was familiar with their limitations. I liked the reviews of this one, and the price made it easy to take a chance.I typed this review on the keyboard, and by the time I had finished, I had mostly adjusted to the shallow travel distance.Pros:*Small size*Good choice of backlight colors*Backlighting has 2 brightness settings.*Remembers previous color and brightness settings when powered up.*Ability to turn off backlight to conserve battery while typing.*Auto off to conserve battery if no key presses within a few minutes.*Battery life seems good so far.*Instruction manual seems pretty thorough.*Quiet typing*Good value for what you get.*All keys seem to work as they should on my IPad. Check under Accessibility for additional controls...nice that Apple offers these extras.Neutral:*Rechargeable battery (personal preference)Cons:*Not like using a full size keyboard, somewhat shallow travel distance.*Not sure how sturdy it is. Advise buyers to store in its original box, or place it in a rigid slipcover while traveling.Tip: I folded a kitchen towel to form an angle for more comfortable typing, and this really added to my ability to quickly adapt to typing on this little keyboard. I pressed it flat it for a few seconds before I put the keyboard on it to help prevent bounce. Also, using the kitchen towel keeps the keyboard from sliding around. Because of this, I didn’t use the small rubber pads/feet that you are supposed to stick on the back to keep it from sliding around. My experience with other keyboards that use this method to attach non-slip feet has been that, over time, the sliding pressure on the keyboard while typing can cause the adhesive to fail. Sometimes the pads would leave a sticky residue when they came off. Maybe the adhesive on these is better, so if anyone else has bought this and is happy with the pads, please leave a comment. Thanks.

Good value for what it does but don't expect it to be amazing.Keystrokes are not firm and directional. If you can imagine, the keys wiggle under your finger at idle and when pressed they move around rather than in and out. Overall build is flimsy as well. If you use no rubber footing (6 adhesives included) then it slides around on slick surfaces. If you use the footing then you really have to strategically place them under the keyboard so that the whole keyboard doesn't flex under your typing. I have made the slight flex as a concession at this point for the small form factor and layout are good on this.Lighting is nice being adjustable but not bright. Easy to turn on/off, toggle colors and brightness. Battery life if fair but can't use while charging so if it prematurely dies be ready with your original device keyboard.Bluetooth channel switching is mostly solid but occasionally takes a while to connect. Not sure if it's the keyboard or device but I switch to my Macbook mostly fine. Have issues with my chromebook and my PC. Most annoying about it is if it goes idle, it sometimes need to have a keypress prior to what you want to type. If you don't wait to come out of idle and connect, sometimes it will start to prematurely repeat your keystrokeeeeeee. "e" for example that would happen not of my doing.Anyway, I was seriously contemplating about returning it but it's had a good value for everything and 3 channel vs 2 channel was big for me. Look past that and you get a good but not great experience.Update 7/4: ARTECK Customer service reached out to me to get me a replacement keyboard under warranty even though it was only 2 months old.New one addresses the keystroke flimsiness. Improved tolerances/mechanism perhaps? Either way it's much more firm now. The flex is not as prevalent but Arteck could do with adding some rubber footings for more support. As for charging I can now use the keyboard while plugged in which is great. Overall better experience and especially because their customer service team was on top of taking care of me. Improving my rating from 3 to 4.5 stars. Can't reflect the .5 so I'll give them the full 5. Thanks ARTECK.
