The price at almost $15. seems a bit much for a very simple frame with a thin plastic sheet in lieu of glass or plexi. On the other hand, it does appear to be individually hand cut out of the faux wood as can be seen by the slightly wobbly circle. But it's sturdy and functional for items that fit within the frame. Unfortunately, mine came with some minor paint damage, perhaps caused by the loose wall tack included. If I needed a number of round frames, I'd look for something else with a lower price tag, since this isn't real wood, anyway. I'm not sure how you could frame embroidery with this unless you cut it out to fit in the circle. The tabs would not allow you to have the edges folded over the back. Overall, this clean looking, modern frame will set off paper art or a photo, especially on a wall of contrasting color.

Very nice frame for my embroidery. It's really perfect and exactly what I was looking for for an embroidery project I just did. It's easy to use. Good quality, sturdy and well made.
