Assemble the Pattern
Place the design on the jig and poke holes through it where the pegs will be located. Then place the pegs where the markings are located.
Start to Wire Wrap
Insert wire into an open hole on the jig where you want to start your design to hold in place, continue to wrap the wire alongside the pegs.
Create your Wire Design
Follow the pattern and continue to wrap the aluminum wire around pegs. Wrap the wire around the indicated loops as you go along.
Embellish
Adorn with any embellishments if you'd like. Let your creativity flow and decorate your wire design as per your liking.

Not that great of quality, some of the pegs are too short to use the rubber stopper on the back of the jig. Also it is difficult to determine the size of the smaller pegs.

This item is pretty sturdy and I was able to make the cat wire wrap already. This will be part of my arsenal of tools for jewelry wrapping.

Well so i use bigger wire and thats not so easy to use this with for Intricate designs with large wire , maybe 20g to 32 or so but i was using 16 g and wires would bunch up not really lay flat , i think if the pegs was bigger it may work not sure what the problem was but it works great for smaller designs its worth it for that but not what i thought ya know what i mean , its a great product for the price and i wish there was a bigger version if the maker of this sees my review i would love a bigger version of this product!!!

Love this jig! I took a chance seeing some of the reviews but the only issue I initially had were the pegs falling out or not being sturdy in their holes. But the jig came with a bunch of rubber stoppers for the underside of the pegs. Once I put those on, they were super sturdy! I managed to get 16 gauge wire around them with no issue (using my thumb to keep the wire in place). Also comes with a selection of different size pegs and with some patterns. Overall it was a great purchase!

I'm so glad I took the plunge and bought this jig. The reviews nearly scared me off, but considering all the craft jigs on Amazon seem to have mixed reviews I thought I might as well go with the least expensive one. All the pegs and clear peg holders (little clear plastic bits that look like the back of an earring) were present. I've had no problems with the pegs staying in place, maybe it's an issue if you're trying to do tiny, intricate work. It's true there are no patterns or instructions included. I suggest watching some YouTube videos, or just getting a cheap spool of wire and playing around with designs. Overall I'm extremely happy with my purchase, and I've already made several lovely pieces thanks it.

It is good for beginners. The pegs are not having good grip when mounted it should have threading with wing nuts at bottom. Some times it comes out from jig plate. Some more pegs of different Dia size needed. Product is of good quality steel and one can get good practice and new ideas to learn. I have made few items with the help of this jig. The are good looking.

I am new to wire bending and coiling, so I don't expect to be any good at it for a while, however I can comment on the workmanship and presentation of the Artistic Wire Deluxe Jig Kit. The base is stamped aluminum and not well finished on the bottom, and the the holes have not been reamed, so many of the pegs don't fit in all of the holes, and one of the pegs in my kit is not machined at all so it doesn't fit anywhere. The pegs are supposed to be aluminum, but unless someone has made magnetic aluminum the pegs are steel. And then there is a little bag of what look to be soft rubber sleeves, but these aren't mentioned anywhere in the directions. so I don't really know what they're for - maybe to keep the pegs in the proper holes. The directions are a bit less than 'complete', but if you're familiar with the process of bending wire, they probably aren't too bad. The pictures showing examples/patterns are simple copies done with poor lighting, so the shadows block a lot of the detail, and the blank templates are very underexposed and will be hard for me to use, so I'll use graph paper.All in all I'm a little disappointed with the quality even at the price, but I'm sure I'll learn to use it, and it will do OK until I'm good enough to look for a better one.

i received the product and got busy playing with the designs that were on the instruction sheet. i had a great time and really appreciate the clear tubes that hold the rods in place. it makes it easy to hold and wrap the wire around the rods. i would recommend this product to a beginner to advanced person because it gives good directions on how to use the product. i even designed some shaped that weren't on the instruction sheet. A heart and a square shape that i made 4 of and made a cube to put a stone in.
