Good performance under cutting, drilling, tapping, sanding & good performance on epoxy to wood. Arvorin has beautiful grain within - the grain is not symmetric and not consistent, one side is coarse grain, another side is fine/none grain. EACH ROD IS UNIQUE GRAIN. 6 Sizes are available below, choose for your different application. 1. Ferrule Size Rod: Φ15mm x 300mm (Φ0.590" x 12") 72gram 2. Arvorin have 0.02"-0.05" thickness wrapped slurry outside, after cut off the skin of the material & polish, you will just find the beautiful looking as same as the photo on listing. 2. make sure you have a sharp tool/cutter when you work on Arvorin. 3. do not be too aggressive & do not cut too much by one time, control the machining speed of your router/cutter in medium speed or under medium. The grain was only on one side and does not look very much like ivory. Would not buy again.

Used this to make some ferrules for cues and it pits when turning down. Nice color and lines.

Order 2. One was shorter than 300mm. Tried to turn on a wood lathe it pretty much blow apart. New sharp tools. Showiest speed didn’t help.
