These work really well. My hands are protected as are my wrist. I got the split hoof gloves. I wish i would have gotten the mitten gloves instead. It is not very comfortable but does the job really well. I haven't needed to replace anything yet so that is good.

These are cheaper and better than most of the more well-known competition. If you put a thick hair band around the thumb joint, it’ll hold the thumb cups in place.

I've used these gloves constantly for the last six months and they have held up well and provided excellent protection for HEMA longsword use.

I have been using loaner knight clamshells from purple heart for a while and was hoping these would be a good alternative not on backorder. The thumb doesn't not bend at all and the places extend too far part the fingers. I generally wear mediums and if you have hands like mine you cannot grib a feder because the thumb prevents your hand from closing. The two pocket design for the mittens don't fit your fingers no matter how you try and wear them. Just order from purple heart of you care about protecting your hands.

Great protection for the hands.Feels like they will last.The thumb articulation is really good.I like my hands so this was a good investment.
