Edited Review (3/5 stars): After using these a couple times I've decided that I don't particularly like the forearm covers. There are too awkward to put and and wear. Alas, the selection on Amazon isn't the greatest. They do protect just fine but I would prefer something that is easier to adjust and is more comfortable.The elbow pads and extra protection is fine but you cannot get those by themselves.Original Review (4/5 stars):These vambraces feel strong. I've not been hit on the arms yet while wearing them but when I test myself it definitely absorbs a lot of the impact.My one issue is that, as they are made of a single piece of curved plastic, they are difficult to put on. The plastic naturally curves in on itself over time, so you kinda have to force your hand through them to get them on. I have debated about cutting them open then re-attaching it so each one is in 2 pieces. They are so tight that the velcro strips that hold them closed are completely unneeded and I have taken them off.. One thing I tried was forcing them over some paint cans to open them up. That works but it will slowly go back to the way it was before over time.You can also feel them squeezing on your arms when you rotate them which isn't comfortable.Also, I got the one with extra elbow defense. It should be noted that the discs on that one appear to be 3d printed in a softer plastic than the vambraces and elbow pads. I don't think this will be an issue in protection (since it's an uncommon area to be hit) but it was unexpected.Overall, I'm mostly happy with the purchase but think it could be a little better.
