I've had the door in place for five months and I haven't had any problems with it. It would be nice if there were an adjustment for the anti-pinch feature since the setting on this door is pretty heavy.

Nice packed and the solar-powered automatic chicken coop door looks great . It’s easy to install and set up, made from high-quality materials, and comes with a remote control. I will no longer worry about forgetting to close the door manually or predators like raccoons entering the coop to harm my chickens.

I had this out side for 5 months and it stopped working. The door will not hold a charge, even from a separate battery pack and will only work for a moment while plugged in.Update: I was contacted because of my 1 star review and offered either a refund or a new door. I opted for the new door because I think that the mud in my run may have had something to do with the issue. I changed my review because I am impressed with the proactive customer service.

I've been using this chicken coop door for 3 weeks now and I've been very happy with it. I have previously used a different brand called Chicken Run auto coop door, but it was very expensive. This door does the exact same thing for me, but for a fraction of the cost. The weather here has been very cold and I haven't had any problems with ice keeping the door from opening and closing. The installation and setup was fairly simple. I also like the color orange due to the fact that I can easily tell if the door is open or closed. My old chicken automatic door was brown and I had a hard time telling if it was open or closed, especially when my chickens could accidentally close the door by hitting a button. I'm happy with this door and I would recommend it for anyone looking for an automatic chicken door opener.

This door is great! I live on a small farm, with not a lot of outdoor outlets, so I love all things solar! This door is super easy to install. You can set it to open and close at specific times or at levels of light or you can manually open and close it. Very easy to install and to use.

In theory, this door works. Reality, not so much. The motor is very lacking. ANY speck of dust, dirt, sand that gets in any part of the track the door slides on will cause it to jam up because the motor is too weak to push past it, and therefore it will not close. Rendering this thing useless and 100% unreliable. I've even tried to go out there every other day with an air duster to try and blow any speck of dust that might be in there. Nope. Won't close anymore unless I go and shove it down. Then you can hear the weak motor trying to run it closed. Trash. I have my door raised up so the chickens have to go up a ramp to get to it so it's not like it's on the ground getting dirt kicked all in it. I live in the desert so my backyard is all sand. This thing got specks of sand in it simply just from the wind blowing a few pieces. So not a lot. And now it won't close. Also, the opening hole is VERY tiny. My chickens are 3 months old and have to duck to get through this thing. My 3 month old roo, who is slightly bigger than the rest, has to duck and shinmy to get through it. I can't imagine them coming close to fitting through this as full grown chickens. Is there such an automatic door that is bigger than 9-10 inches at the opening so standard sized chickens can actually fit?? All that I see on Amazon are that size. I honestly can't even see full grown bantam chickens comfortably fitting through this tiny hole.I'm going to look into an automatic doggie door instead of these tiny chicken coop doors.I would not recommend.
