Your cart is empty. The Ashford flexible conrod joint fits Ashford spinning wheels made from mid 1980’s to 2012. It measures Measures 1/4 inch in diameter x 2.75 inches long (6.00mm x 7.0cm). If your wheel had a green connector (3/16 inch in diameter) this conrod joint may not fit. Ashord no longer stocks the green 3/16 inch diameter flexible conrod joints.
This connector will not fit the Ashford spinning wheels mentioned below that have a different style of connector.
Ashford wheels from 2012 to the present that use a black cast footman connector.
Ashford spinning wheels made prior to the mid 1980's that use a flat piece of leather, 9/16″ inches wide x 2 5/8 inches″ long x 1/8″ inches thick. It has two holes predrilled for the attaching screws.

This worked well to fix my wife’s Ashford Joy Wheel. At first, it didn’t go all the way into the hole because the broken end of the old one was in the way. After trying a few things, finally drilled out the old one with a quarter inch bit. Then had some issues accessing the screw on the other end, but figured out it had to be in folded position to tighten the screw. Hopefully, I won’t have to deal with it for another 24 years, which is how long the original piece lasted.

This was a replacement part for an older, spinning wheel, and it fit perfectly. I contacted the seller once I got an immediate reply. I will do business with him again.
