This upgraded and beneficial single person foam sleeping pad offers an added barrier of comfort between yourself and the hard ground that you are sleeping under during your outdoor adventure.
The main advantage to the cold weather sleeping pad thermal mat is the added mylar covering to the sleeping pad it self will help retain heat and distribute it evenly throughout the mat back to your body as you lay at rest, making cold weather camping more enjoyable.

Ultralight, easy to transport on a backpack but so flimsy… Got damaged just from being in the trunk of the car for 15 minutes. Also, a little wider would do a better job: I got it to increase the R factor of my sleeping system but my other matt is wider and makes contact with the tent floor, which defeats the purpose. I am keeping it for future low-key camping trips but not for big adventures!

This helped boost the thermal insulation underneath my sleeping bag. This extra layer helped me keep the sleeping pad I like and I’m used to…even in the cold weather now.

Decent mat. Tore a hole the 1st day in silver. Still usable. Used for my Boy Scout camping for my son.

I initially bought this for the low cost, padding/comfort factor for my bug-out bag. I took it camping in May and it helped retain body heat when it started snowing. I haven't taken it out below 25 degrees yet, if I ever do, I'll update this. It's cheap so remember, you get what you pay for. Be gentle with the foil side.

Fine light weight mat, does not distribute the body heat so the mat will collect moisture.
