444

Optimized Compression

Designed to prevent over-compression of bushings during installation which extends the service life of the bushing.

Stabilizer Bar Link Kit should be checked and replaced when you encounter the following problems:

ZK6541 BALL JOINT

Stabilizer Link Wheel Vibrations

When the Stabilizer Link become excessively worn, it will make wheel shimmy, which may cause vibrations felt in the wheel. The intensity of the vibrations will increase as you step on the accelerator pedal to go faster

ZK6541 BALL JOINTS

Clunking Noises

If the Stabilizer Link develop excessive play or looseness, this can cause them to knock during takeoff, or when the vehicle is traveling over rough terrain. The clunking sound will continuously get louder as the component wears or until it eventually breaks.

Steering wandering

Stabilizer Link Wandering

Excessively worn Stabilizer Link can cause the vehicle’s steering alignment to shift, which may cause the steering to pull to the left or right when traveling down the road.

In the photo labels:ASTARPRO is #1,Moog is #2,Toyota OEM is #3Summary: I used ASTARPRO.Details:ASTARPRO's metal parts and grommet were good quality. ASTARPRO's grommet is too small but it does work for a year or two.ASTARPRO vs Moog - I used to be a Moog fan but their quality has really fallen off (Moog's grommet design does not work at all).Cost vs Quality:Toyota OEM is by far the best quality but they are over $100 each vs Moog $45 each vs ASTRAPRO $13 each.ASTARPRO metal parts are just slightly lower quality than Moog. Moog's metal is heavier and Moog's nut and flange are larger so Moog holds better. The problem is Moog's grommet does not work at all on our Toyota Tundras - not even for a week.ASTARPRO grommet is too small but it will work for a year or two on Toyota Tundra (works ok on regular city roads and paved rural roads. ASTARPRO grommets do not last long on dirt roads, but I would not rely on them for off roading. Moog's grommet 'plastic' design is terrible and does not last more than a few weeks even in the city.Note - Moog has an odd design with a metal shaft with a bolt holding the grommets vs the traditional solid metal shaft with a nut holding the grommets. Moog's packaging is labeled K90680 but I think the sway bar link inside the packaging was wrong - it looks like the K90681 which I think is for the older Tacoma's. ASTARPRO's design is the same design as the Toyota OEM part.Grommet Design: My guess is ASTARPRO and MOOG cut cost by cutting back on the quality and size of the grommet. Cutting back on the grommet makes no sense to me because that cannot possible make a huge cost difference.Ball Joint: Toyota was the best, but both ASTARPRO and Moog had good solid ball joints that have lasted at least two years so far under similar conditions. ASTARPRO and Moog both have a good quality pressed seal. The grommets failed long before the ball joints.Grease Fitting: ASTARPRO and Moog both have a good quality pressed ball joints, boots, and seals. Both have grease fittings. ASTARPRO came with the grease fitting installed which is much better than trying to install the grease fitting. (Note - Just a few days earlier, I hard a really hard time getting a grease fitting into a Moog lower ball joint - it was a pain in the rear and I gave up after an hour without success - I ended up just buying a replacement ball joint - if you look online lots of people have a hard time installing Moog's grease fittings). Bottom Line - ASTARPRO came with the grease fitting installed with made life a lot easier.Winner .... ASTARPRO for value and comparable quality. I made my own grommets from scrap rubber because ASTARPRO's grommets were undersized, but in the end ASTARPRO worked fine and were a much lower price. Moog sucked.

Sway bar end link direct fit. I like how beefy these are compared to OEM. I also like the fact that I can grease these.

these come at a better price than most parts on rock auto, and are made from thicker metal than the oem links so they wont rust out as quickly. overall quite happy with these, will post pictures when I get around to installing them
