Images are not sharp at infinity at any aperture. Could be a bad sample. Excellent for bokeh shots and medium distance shots at f5.6 My advice to new purchasers is to be sure to check focus at infinity before your return period expires.
Super worth it!!! RECOMMENDED 🙌

The focus ring is pretty tight/stiff, making getting in focus a little more difficult. The aperture ring is right in front of the focus ring and I find myself accidentally adjusting f stop instead of focus quite often. For the price, images are decent and lens is “fun” to use

Je crois que le monde qui donne des mauvaises évaluations ne savent pas se servir d’une lens manuelle. Vraiment de qualité et exceptionnelle dans la faible luminosité. Elle est solide sur mon appareil et n’a aucun lousse. Génial A1

I had my doubts about what kind of quality I would get for the price the seller was asking..but it was all for knot! Ordered, came here quick and turned out very nice. No complaints about anything..

I expected decent..... but I received EXCELLENCE. Yields beautiful images from my Fuji XT-1. Great sharpness, saturation, bokah and edge to edge brightness... Its just beyond me how it's less than $100. HOWEVER, there are no click stopes for setting apeture... fluid, more like the feel of a quality video/tv lens, and easy to change without realizing it... all in all fantastic for the price and the images are superb!

This lens is good for it's price. The only i have is when i point the camera at direct light. The lens produces bad flaring and ghosting. I would recommend you to avoid shooting at direct lights

Having used several inexpensive native manual lenses for Fujifilm this lens is easily the best built of the bunch. Ergonomics are excellent compared to some of the odd cone shaped lenses that are on the market. The focus ring is buttery smooth and the lens is extremely solid feeling, made entirely of metal and glass. The finish is also a nice matte, which just adds to the premium feel.I’m not a pixel peeper and find the lens is plenty sharp enough, though with a bit of lost contrast wide open (no more than I expected), with excellent image fidelity and color rendering. I’m using this on an X-H1 and also tested it on my X-T30 II. Focus is easy to nail with focus peaking on these cameras. The lens has a clickless aperture ring, which is perfect for video, but not ideal for photography. That’s ok - I knew this before I purchased it. There’s a bit of focus breathing, but it’s not terrible. Bokeh is very good in my opinion. The only real downside I’ve noticed is you’ll see some magenta chromatic aberration in high contrasting highlights. Haven’t been able to test flaring much as the weather hasn’t been great, but most of these bargain lenses have some amount to contend with.Overall, if you’re looking for a “modern vintage look” prime with a native Fuji mount, I think you’ll be very pleased.

It’s a great 50mm lens for its value. Though there are some nit picky things that I didn’t like and to keep this short and simple for others to read here are some pros and cons that I found:Camera that I tested it on:Nikon ZfcAPS-C Sensor20.9-21 MPPros:• Great Value for the price• Minimal chromatic aberrations• Decent Low light performance• Very damp focus ring• Excellent Build Quality (Full Metal construction big plus)Cons:• De-clicked Aperture Ring (something that you have to get used too but would’ve really liked a clicked ring)• No camera communication; but it’s something to expect but having some sort of camera communication would be great just knowing for sure on f-stops or whatnot.• (purely subjective) would’ve been cool if a lens hood was includedFinal consensus:The AstrHori 50mm f/2 lens is an excellent choice for people wanting to venture out to 3rd party manual lenses. Though I would like to see an APS-C version since this is only available in a full frame lens. Lastly, give the sample photo’s included a look and make a choice for yourself if you want to buy this lens!
