In response to requests from several customers, we now offer just the SCT barrel from 2" Astromania SCT diagonals.Astromania SCT Adapter will let you convert compatible push-in (refractor) type diagonals into a standard SCT diagonal without committing extra funds to a brand-new diagonal. With compatible diagonals, you can simply unscrew the chrome barrel on the telescope end of your refractor diagonal. Then insert this barrel in its place and you can now use your refractor diagonal with all telescopes having a standard SCT thread.

Extremely Short SC to T-2 External Adapter

I bought this to increase the diameter of my imaging train to m48. There is no mention that this is actually an m42 visual back with an m48 adapter. This did not help my problem at all. I was hoping to reduce vignetting and give my OAG a clearer view. Stepping down to m42 for no good reason is unacceptable for a product advertised as m48. Total waste of money.

It was a perfect fit on my micro 4/3 Panasonic camera. I threaded a 1.25 inch nose piece to attach the camera to my telescope. It worked like a charm. If you need an adapter to attach your micro 4/3 third camera to a telescope then this is the accessory you need.

This item wouldn't fit my telescope along with other items I returned.Every brand that said for a SCT scope wouldn't fit.This item said for a 2 "SCT telescope, but it was too big.I measured all the threads of the items I sent back and they were around 52mm and my telescope is around 50mm(2")( Bausch and Lomb) I did buy an adapter that fit (unbranded)Anyway I bought the scope 40+years ago in the states so I thought the problem was standard vs metric ??

My AT66 refractor has SCT and only came with a 1 1/4" SCT visual back. In order to use it for astrophotography, I ended up getting a SCT 2" nosepiece adapter. It worked fine until I tried using a narrow band filter. The adapter was too long so I and could not focus. It needs more intravel to obtain focus. I searched for shorter adapters but they don't have a internal stop for the threads. Without the stop, the the treads on at66 will continue to tread until the adapter goes all the way through. I was about to give up until I stumbled upon this SCT adapter for my At66 refractor. This adapter fits perfectly and is short so I can finally reach focus. It also allows me to rotate the camera by barely loosening the threads at refractor. It stays connected so it keeps the camera from falling. The quality is excellent as well.

Fit and finish of this item was very good the problem is that the male flange would not fit any of my four 2 inch star diagonal one was a Celestron and one was a Astro tech 2 inch and one was a scientific explore 2 inch diagonal and one was a off brand diagonal the opening on all four were larger then the items male flange.. I got a refund hope this helps others.

I added an OAG to my SCT and needed to go from SCT threads to M48. Since I use a .63 reducer the back focus distance is important as well as being able to change the orientation of the camera. This device is probably a little long if you had to add a filter wheel, but is perfect length for me when combined with an 8mm m48 spacer/extension. The build quality is great.

I purchased this to pair with my 2 inch William Optics durabright diagonal, it fits perfectly and attaches to my Meade 8" SCT. No issues with the threads.
