I use this when clipping her nails. Her fighting me almost is non-existent. Good size for my Calico. I walk up and have it snapped on before she negatively reacts. Good product

Great idea, just to heavy. I have a tiny dog (4lb) that evidently likes to ingest foreign objects, resulting in surgical intervention. I needed something more than a muzzle, which aren’t made to fit dogs his size. This seemed like a perfect solution! If he were bigger, it might be, too! Unfortunately the reviews about weight are spot on. The “ear peaks” fell to the front of his face and the upper clasp obstructs his view. I hate that! For me and for him! My hunt for a better solution continues…

Tried putting it on our cat but got one side fastened, he freaked out, knocked it off his head and it broke. Happened same day it was delivered. Total waste of money

I bought this in hopes of being able to trim my kitten's nails without getting bitten. I put it on her a couple times to try to get her used to it first. On about the third try, she managed to squirm out of it. When I picked it up, I realized both tabs were broken, so it will no longer fasten. I never had the opportunity to use it as I intended, and too late to return. Sadly, a waste of money. The tabs are not big enough or strong enough to withstand an unhappy kitten.

My cat bites when I'm combing her. So I purchased this. She doesn't seem to mind it at all? Infact she just calms down and lays there for me. She groans a bit in protest but no biting or clawing.. she is a Persian so she mats if I don't keep her brushed. It's hard to get the mats out when she does get them. This is a must have item from now on!. I'm not sure if it's going to last long as it is plastic but I can't be with out it now! If you have a fire dragon like mine this is the answer! She is better now even if I don't put it on.. she also does not fight me when I'm putting it on her as spunky as she is, I can't believe how well it works.
