Case could be slightly better. But the tools seem fine and did do the job.

I purchased this as it was the tool used in a YouTube video for a specific repair. Right tool for the job. Glad I purchased.

Great puller for the price, case a little flimsy but tool is well made.

Use the tool with some common sense.. heat and penetrating oil are your best friend in the pulling stuff off.. if you can't use heat or lube get yourself a press. The splitters themselves are solid. I could see if you push the threads of the connecting shafts they would be the first to give.. the splitters are worth the $$. Rebuilt a 5 speed with this and will do many more.

Great kit, comes with everything I would expect it to come with. The parts were well oiled when they arrived so I had to spend some time cleaning them but other wise this thing works great. The smaller gear puller ended up being a little bigger than I expected so make sure to take measurements and make sure this thing is gonna work for you before you buy it.

Worked exactly the way it was supposed to! Easily removed crank bearings from my old two-stroke crankshaft without putting stress on the crank pin. As the cliche goes, "The right tool for the right job".

I found this tool somewhat disappointing. The casted plates had clear flaws in them. Poor quality. I actually bent the thread on the vertical part. Still works, but it could be a little better quality steel on those. Also, to use this to pull a bearing on a hollow shaft, as I did for my GM 8.25" front differential repair, you need a piece of steel stock to give the puller something to push against. I used a couple of sockets, but would have appreciated having a set with some adapters. You get what you pay for here for sure.

The first thing i did with this puller kit is run a bottom tap on the extensions and bearing separators, and a a die on all the threaded shafts. The next thing i did was replace the bearing separated nuts with some from ace hardware that are steel and Rockwell rated. I then coated everything with silicone lubricate. I have now pulled bearings off dc mothers, axle shafts, CV joints. I have used it about twenty times in a short period of time without any problems or failures. I think i save a lot of money overall by doing these few things.

i did need to run the drive screw through a die to clean up the thread but other than that this set worked well and was a good value.
