Fully Adjustable Mechanical Advance
An important feature on all A-Team Pro Series distributors is the fully adjustable mechanical advance. This allows you to easily modify the distributor to achieve a variety of timing curves. Included with all Pro Series distributors are four bushings of varied size. The bushing determines the mechanical advance the distributor can achieve. Also included are six springs, with two at each level of tension. The springs control the rate at which the distributor reaches the advance.

The "white box" arrived inside a Top Street Performance box, both of which had a 1/2" hole punched right through them. Completely separate from the holes, the vacuum advance diaphragm doesn't even hold vacuum- none at all. So I'll be installing the best adjustable unit available for GM points distributors which is the Accel 3104. It's also a known fact that these things eat ignition modules so it's getting removed and the entire distributor is being paired with a CDI box and Standard FD478 coil since Amazon screwed up my All-star coil.

Another one for the "JUNK from China" category. They don't even check if the paperwork matches the product. The Wiring Diagram identifies wires by their colors, but as you can see in the attached photos, the wires change colors at the connector. Black becomes Yellow, Brown becomes Black... and there's no Orange wire anywhere! GUESSING is clearly a required installation tool, but only ACCURATE GUESSES will save your motor. I used a meter to figure out the wiring, and spun it on the bench with 12v connected before I installed it. Good thing, too, because it would have wrecked my CDI box. Another note... be ready to adjust your oil pump or re-index the cap. If you feel extremely lucky, buy one. Just make sure you have a wet towel nearby. Car people will know what I mean.

Dead on arrival! I just installed this distributer after having the engine rebuilt, I purchased in June of 2023, and had it on the shelf waiting for the day that I could install. Well that day finally came, and this item is dead. Car will not run with this installed. I verified this by installing the original HEI dist. Wish i could have returned it, but the "window" of opprotunity came and went. Should have know that it was junk, shame on me for not researching better. Amazon should know better that to allow such garbage to be sold on their platform.

No tach reference after 4 revolutions. Car didn't give any indication that it was going to run. Ki bought a $180 doorstop.

Used to replace points distributor on my 1964 impala. Super easy to install and looks just as good as the "M" brand. Works great in the car

The distributor was the perfect fit for me otherwise I would of had to do something to my firewall that I didn't want to a it looks great.

Fit perfect in my 1959 bel air with a 350 Chevy in it. No lube included for the distributor gear but I had some. Looks and work like an msd..! Very good piece. Recommended.

Come with every option I locked mine out and removed the vacuum advance came with all the parts and a extra cap and rotor great product has o-ringed shaft for it to be oiled

Its built better then 40$ distributor purchased elsewhere ,fit in 92 camaro 305 with a few inches of hood clearance.
