Windshield wiper re-cutter
Environmental influences such as sun, cold, moisture and dirt cause windshield wipers to age over time. Micro stones, sand, etc. often get stuck in the rubber and draw streaks across the windshield. With the PERFECT.CUT you remove the worn cleaning edges. A special knife in the housing of the PERFECT.CUT cuts off the damaged rubber (very narrow cut) at the wiper lip. Our PERFECT.CUT is applicable for all current quality windshield wipers. The wipers are like new again and can be operated for a long time.
It's that quick and easy:
Step 1:
Cleaning: Fold the wiper over take out the sponge integrated in the housing - moisten it and clean the wiper. Compared to the competition, we have a cleaning edge on the top (sponge side): very often the wiper is just dirty and just needs to be cleaned. Pull the wiper through the cleaning profile (groove).
Step 2:
Then test the result - with the wipers / washer on the windshield. You can put the sponge back in the housing compartment after use and cannot lose it.
If the result is not satisfactory, recut your wipers with the PERFECT.CUT.
Step 3:
Cut: When using for the first time, press switch 1 in the housing of the PERFECT.CUT (until it clicks into place). Place the PERFECT.CUT on the edge of the wiper lip and pull it in the "direction of the arrow" in one stroke over the entire wiper lip.
Step 4:
Then clean again with the damp sponge. After that you can again drive a long time with the wipers. These are like new!

Anwendungshinweise:
- Do not press the black switch (1 or 2) during cutting or hold it so that the switch is not pressed accidentally.
- Do not cut 2x in a row with the same blade setting.
- Always cut the wiper from the side where it is firmly mounted to the frame.
- For hybrid wipers, cut only with the Press switch 2 setting.
- Do not re-cut the windshield wipers in single-digit temperatures.
- Before cutting, put some dishwashing detergent on the sponge and rub the wiper with it.

It definitely does not work as well as brand new wipers but there's a slight difference when you use it compared to using an old wiper I suppose

save yourself money and hassle of buying something that doesnt work as intended. as a matter of fact, this device has ruined my wiper blades. moreover, the cut was not smooth at all. directions are in different language. DEFITnetly would not recommend!

Ich kann nur sagen hat super funktioniert. Ich habe den Scheibenwischer vorher gründlich gereinigt mit einem nassen Lappen.(der Reinigungs Spalt ohne Messe geht sehr straff) Dann hab ich Spülmittel großzügig auf dem Gummi verteilt damit das Schneidemesser besser gleiten kann. (demontiert und auf den Tisch gelegt) beim ansetzen und los schneiden schiebt sich der Gummi zusammen was nicht so gut war. Also habe davor gegengehalten und als ich ein Stück drinnen war konnte ich dahinter festlegen und mit einem Schnitt bis zum Ende ziehen. Am Ende entsteht eine kleine Nase diese habe ich mit einer Schere leicht schräg abgeschnitten. Alles super wischt jetzt Streifen frei. Bin Mal gespannt wie lange das Messer hält.

So, there's no way something this cheap should actually work, but I kind of does.I screwed up the first blade I did. You see, you need to wet the blade down with soapy water so it's nice and slippery. Also, when you're sliding the tool down the wiper blade, make sure you do it in a single smooth motion. If you don't, you'll leave a sort of notch or bur on the wiper blade and then you'll have a bad section that won't wipe properly.I did it right the second time, inserting the end of the wiper blade into the tool and then shifting my grip to the wiper's attachment point before the rubber met the steel cutter.Then just slide the tool down the wiper blade in one smooth motion.It really is pretty easy once you get the fiddly details worked out.

Compré este artilugio un poco escéptico. Los comentarios solían ser muy divergentes: para unos era una maravilla y para otros una chapuza.Lo que sí voy a poner es cómo lo hice. Me subí los limpiaparabrisas (nada de hacerlo en la oscuridad del garaje), les dí bien con una esponja, el lavavajillas y agua caliente. Todavía ligeramente húmedos, les pasé la maquinita y cortó una tirita de goma muy fina en cada uno de ellos.Ahora bien, los resultados han de ser comprobados cuando los pruebe con lluvia... Pero cortar, sí cortan.

Kinda hard to get the cutting started but it worked! Just check you wipers and make sure they aren’t dry rotted first. This product can’t help dry rot

Do NOT buy! This item does NOT work. First, it’s cheaply made of light plastic. That was my first clue that the money spent for this was thrown away, way overpriced. The way this device is supposed to work... it has a opening that you’re supposed to fit one end of the wiper blade in and then you slide it all the way through. The worn rubber edge it supposed to be sliced off with a tiny blade built into the device... That's if the hole was large enough to accommodate any wiper blade. The opening is way to small for any wiper blade to fit through. Unfortunately 30 days passed before I actually tried to use this thing so I can't return it. Money thrown away.
