Luckily I got these for my girlfriend because the heel strap is too short to fit my boots. The boa binding is convenient but it looks flimsy and vulnerable. Usually boa-style bindings have the cables better protected and concealed. These are completely exposed which creates a failure point. If they get snagged on something and break then the snowshoes are done. She likes them after 1 day, but we snowshoe with our dog every morning so we'll see how long they last.
