The fibrous gasket swells slightly with the first heat cycle, preventing any leaks long term and filling in imperfections on the pan and transmission surfaces. Perfect fit, included a pan gasket and even a crush washer for the drain plug. I installed this on a 2005 Tacoma 2.7 4cyl which has the A340E transmission (not the A750F on the V6 2nd gen's - look at the sticker on your door jamb to confirm your transmission code). We will see how it holds up but very happy with fit and install so far.

I've used these kits on my 2004 Tacoma several times. Gasket helps hold 4 bolts & the filter is easy to change. Easy to do, just messy. I use several large pcs. Of cardboard & carpet. Truck feels smoother & it shifts great!!! TAKE YOUR TIME GETTING THE FLUID LEVEL CORRECT.

Does not fit 1997 4Runner SR5 as advertised. Of course I discovered this after removing all 18 bolts and dropping the transmission pan. Very lucky that a local auto parts store had the correct part on hand, still a PITA.

Part no. ATP B-211 automatic transmission filter kit does not fit a 1998 Toyota Supra Turbo with automatic transmission.. The filter unit is larger than the stock unit and the fluid pickup is much lower. It may be too close to the bottom of the transmission pan. The gasket fit correctly.

This filter and gasket set works great for the 4-speed automatic A340E transmission in my 2006 Tacoma 2.7L. Everything fit perfectly, no leaks, good performance.
