I installed this filter on a 2012 Jeep Patriot JF011E transmission (the model without the beehive cooler) and it was a perfect match! Most on-line chats and reviews did not know whether the later model Patriots with the integral cooler built into the radiator had this filter behind the "cooler bypass" plate (i.e., where the hoses go to and from the radiator). I have attached a picture where this filter is to be installed, and don't confuse this filter with the pump suction filter behind the transmission sump pan (the traditional filter).
