This ATP LG-206 and LG-205 are reusable gaskets for the ford "AX" series of transmissions. The original ford transmission gasket is also reusable and the pan is embossed with "reusable gasket". Torque is 7 to 9 foot lbs. I found 7 ft lbs (84 inch lbs) is enough to compress the gasket evenly. Hint - replacement pans from Dorman contain a drain plug !!

Changed fluid, filter , and gasket.Thought I'd try a replaceable gasket.Torqued to specifications.Once started adding fluid, you could here fluid leaking. Pouring out from all edges of pan.Was late in the day, so had to reuse old gasket: with no problems.

This gasket did not seal at all. I needed a good gasket for my transmission fluid replacement and this is a bonded gasket like the original, but it did not seal causing me even more money on transmission fluid and cleaning of my driveway. I always make sure I have the correct tools and know the procedures prior to starting.I wish it worked.
