Nice sturdy MDF, however there were visible defects right off the bat as you can see; most notably, a small seam break between carpet faces and also gaps wherever glue was applied. Luckily this is going in my trunk and I don't care about what it looks like, and the glue is an easy fix. It works great, but if you're after aesthetics as well, I'd look elsewhere.

The carpeting seems thing so the corner on the bottom front left with the sub facing you was worn/exposed slightly. I could see it up close and feel it. Not sure if it was just the seem of how the carpet was wrapped or something worn during shipping. But it was something I felt before I saw and it isn't visible in my trunk so not really an issue.Overall the build quality seems decent and the sealant job seemed good. Only real complaint is the terminals are rather cheap and there is no wiring so you'll have to do your own and solder some to it or use some clips onto the metal tabs, but they are right next to the plastic so if you go solder path bend them out and put some rubber insulation or something to prevent you from melting the plastic as you heat up the tab for the solder.
