This device was installed correctly by myself, a 45 year electrical engineer. It worked for a couple of weeks, then failed.

Received item without any paperwork or installation instructions. Add is incorrect as switch does not have a mounting plate as advertised only a plastic sticker. Also the switch is oval in shape and not as pictured.

Bought this to replace my old switch and separate nonworking timer board. This works as advertised, turn on and forget operation to keep your catch alive. I'd suggest buying a thru-hull strainer, or else you'll forget you have it on auto while in shallows and suck up weeds. The unit I got has a oval body instead of the square body as pictured, incase that matters to you. Also, I had assumed the "Cycle on-off" label was a metal plate, but it's a sticker that you place around the switch cutout.
