I like the tanks. Thicker plastic and has a Guage.I had a brand new one in my boat but apparently someone liked it more than me. So the new one is in my apartment until I can figure out how to permanently attach it to my boat

This Attwood 12gal. fuel tank is just what I needed. This adds me double the capacity compared to my other 6 gal. tank for my boat. You have to add your own coupling for your type of connection which is expected.The fuel gauge works good, but I expect this to quit working over time; but overall, construction is good, but it does feel a little flimsy in certain places, (maybe it's just me) For the most part, price, size and value, it is a solid tank. If you need to haul more fuel for your boat, this is the tank.

I got this for my father inlaw's '72 Glastron Swinger until we can clean out or replace the existing gas tank, but without missing any good fishing. Took this out on the open ocean, and it worked flawlessly. Since neither of us are marine mechanics, this will likely be the main tank for some time. Just for "scientific purposes", we will be taking it out again when the bimi top and my new pole arrives.

Yes it swells up but not too bad if you can keep it in the shade away from sun and heat. Best to let the pressure off from time to time. You can still smell gas fumes but a lot less than a tank that has an open vent. It performs well for my specific need. I have a pump and a hose connected to it and I transfer fuel very easily. Takes about 10 minutes or so to transfer it out using a holly red pump.
