To record your greeting, follow these steps
Hang up the phone, long press the middle button until you hear a "beep" to start recording your message, release the middle button to finish recording (remember to keep the phone hung up) Once you record your greeting, the call will go through the speaker Autoplay.
To replay the greeting message, hang up and press the middle button.
Tips: If you want to replace the greeting, just repeat step 1. You can also connect your phone to your PC and use any MP3 format file as your greeting instead of the original file in the "GREETING" folder.
To record a guest message, please follow the steps below
Pick up the phone and the greeting will play automatically. Wait for the beep and start recording your guest message, hang up to finish recording. Your guest messages will be saved in the "Guests" folder.
To access your greeting and visitor messages, connect your phone to your PC or iPad with a USB cable. The "GREETING" folder contains your greeting message and the "GUEST" folder contains your guest message.

Was a pain to set up. Had to pop the batteries in and out multiple times to get to work. Didn’t record half the messages. And doesn’t play the ones it did “record”. Complete garbage product.

We were able to successfully customize our greeting. The phone functions well and comes as described. We are able to access our files on the computer and everything functions properly. I was a little hesitant because the phone we purchased was a refurbished one.To get the custom greeting, all you have to do is hold down the center button, wait for the beep and continue to hold as you pick up the handset it will beep again on the handset, record your message and hang up. Make sure you’re holding the center button the entire time.

Audio guestbooks are so much fun and this one is no exception! The instructions are clear and straight forward. The black is great as it can go with any theme at any event. Feels like it is made well. Definitely worth the money!

I have tried for weeks to keep a host message...it keeps and I think I have mastered it and then the host message that came on it come back....plus, I'm 3 days late to return it.

Listen… weddings are expensive… I thought I was making a really smart financial decision by buying an audio guestbook off Amazon rather than renting one for about $300 more. However, despite this being still a $100 investment, the phone is a piece of garbage from China and does not work. We were not able to record our own greeting despite following the directions. We went to try the secondary method of connecting the phone to a computer and replacing the audio file in the folder, but couldn’t even get a folder to pop up. Returned!

Used for our wedding. Tried several phone before choosing this one. Voicemails were clear. Instructions were unclear and could not get the custom voice memo to record. Used it without one and worked perfectly. Appearance was cute and listening back to voicemails was so fun.

the greeting message does not always play there seems to be an issue with it , that the greeting stops after 3 plays. bought it months before the wedding day for it not to work
