We got this for my great aunt's upcoming 100th birthday party and it’s already stealing hearts. The vintage style is nostalgic and feels perfect for capturing meaningful messages.You can either charge it via USB-C or use AA batteries. Guests simply pick up the receiver, listen to your greeting and then leave their messages. We tested it out beforehand and had fun recording a few messages ourselves. Transferring voice recordings from the included SD card to other devices is also pretty straightforward.In my opinion this phone will adds a thoughtful, sentimental touch to the celebration and hopefully will create some lasting memories. Highly recommend if you want something personalized and meaningful at your event.

This has a great retro vibe. Sound quality is good. I recorded an outgoing message in a quiet room and the playback is almost too loud. This would probably be necessary at a party though. I mistakenly assumed you would be able to listen to playback via the phone as well as the computer, but no. This seems like a missed opportunity for sure. My kids want to play on it (having never had a phone like this before, it's very novel for them) but they have to listen to the messages via computer. It's funny because when I was a kid I would have loved to have access to a computer and not a boring phone but anyway... We plugged it directly into a wall. Looks more like a vintage phone like that anyway. I wish there was something you could do with the working buttons (like enter in a code to hear the messages or something), but there's nothing in the instructions about anything you can do with them. Makes you wonder why they're even there or why it's not rotary since you're not even using them. All in all, it's a cute decor piece. Not super convenient as we can all leave memos on our smartphones and retrieve them much more easily. Fun, but definitely not worth $90 in my opinion. Maybe half that.

What a COOL ITEM!!!! I love it. I love the idea of it, it is easy to work, it is vintage and high-quality feeling. What a unique item to have for a party or at your home... I had this displayed for my guests at a dinner party and they thought it was the coolest thing.Awesome little item for a great price, and one that your guests will be so entertained by!

I got this for a goodbye party for my work and everyone was blown away. It is such a special way to leave messages for people that you love. It's a little more intimate than a note because you can hear their voice. Very easy to set up just follow the prompts on the directions. Also very easy to tell your guess how to use it which is important. I have not transferred the data yet but I'm sure that it's easy based on what the directions say. Highly recommend

This is very cool. I know they’re generally for weddings and celebrations but I got mine for my family. This is for the kids (& parents) to record positive messages / happy memories.I know it sounds super cheesy but there are 3 kids from 15-8 and they do some pretty impressive feelings hurting. They love each other and they’re good kids, but I thought this might be a good way to get them to leave messages of kindness, especially when they don’t feel like talking to each other.So it’s The Kind Words Phone.So far, it’s being used. I haven’t listened to any of the messages and don’t really plan to. I’ll upload them and THEY can access them when they need or want to.I didn’t tell them I don’t plan on listening to them, because they’re boys, and the illusion of oversight is itself, a pretty effective tool.Maybe someday when they’re older it will be of value to them. Maybe it will end in disaster, but I’m optimistic.

This is genius! I love it! It’s adorable and looks expensive. You can charge it up via usb or use batteries. You record a greeting then guests pick up the phone and record you a message. Recordings are saved to an SD card that can be transferred to a computer. The sound quality is very good. I plan to use the phone as a decoration after my wedding.
