I don't have the capability to test it for it's claimed wattage limits, but most audio equipment these days is a bit "creative" in their wattage measurements, so you should take any claims with a grain of salt. The sound does seem to be acceptable, but then again, I'm an old fart and we tend to not have that great of hearing for the higher frequencies -- it's called repetitive noise injury and we end up going deaf to the frequency of our wife's voice. Construction quality seems acceptable, and I'll revisit this review if there are any issues with the unit.

Cone and ring feel very solid and well-made/assembled. Wire connections are easy to use and are push down to attach or detach wire. Speaker sound is nice but gets a little distorted the higher the volume and power is pushed. Has a very nice, sweet spot than just sounded wonderful clear and clean with no static or issues. Easy to tell which is positive and negative. The included crossover is ok. Looks cool and shiny. Does have some weight so careful where you mount it.

I was having trouble with my speakers having too much lower range and bass sounds which sometimes overwhelmed the treble and even the lyrics were hard to hear clearly. I added this tweeter which now amplifies a whole new spectrum of higher ranging sounds, including the percussion and singers voices. My system is now much more balanced.

This tweeter can get super super loud. I could not drive it hard enough to get it to max out. The included 2.2uF capacitor seems perfect for the frequency range of this speaker. Seems like it has a range of about 3k to 20k Hz. Not a flat curve in there though. It gets louder as it gets closer to 18k Hz.The strange thing with this is the angle with which it sounds good is 30 degrees or more off center. Usually a tweeter sounds good pointing straight on, but not so good at angles. This actually sounds better at angles greater than 30 degrees. Weird.It gets one star knocked off because it's not the best tweeter I've ever heard. There is a certain sparkle and clarity it is lacking. I am an audiophile though so more probably won't notice.If you got a big boat and need something to be super loud over the crashing waves and loud motor this is for you. If you got a massive speaker setup that needs a majorly loud tweeter this could work too.
