This was installed and as soon as the radio was turned on I could hear a difference..... it sounded much clearer than before.I love the "shutdown' feature as well. Apparently there was a short in one of the front door speakers I was not aware of but the eq picked it up and shutdown itself and the radio and the deck displayed the message "amp error".I am very happy with my purchase!
