Yukon XLR Analog Interconnect Cable

It's easy to accomplish 100% shield coverage. Preventing captured Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) from modulating the equipment's ground reference requires AQ's Noise-Dissipation System (NDS). Traditional shield systems typically absorb and then drain noise/RF energy to component ground, modulating and distorting the critical "reference" ground plane, which in turn causes a distortion of the signal. NDS's alternating layers of metal and carbon-loaded synthetics "shield the shield," absorbing and reflecting most of this noise/RF energy before it reaches the layer attached to the ground.

Any solid material adjacent to a conductor is actually part of an imperfect circuit. Wire insulation and circuit board materials all absorb energy. Some of this energy is stored and then released as distortion. AudioQuest, however, uses Polyethylene Air-Tube Insulation on both conductors, for increased geometry stabilization and improved clarity. Das AQ-Yukon ist ein High-End-Kabel; es löst Musiksignale sehr analytisch und räumlich auf und bietet eine beachtliche Transparenz; es ist leicht höhenbetont und würde durchaus in meine MacIntosh-Kette passen. ABER ... es ist einfach überteuert! 500 Euro hätte ich bezahlt, wenn ich es nicht retourniert hätte, und manchmal verlangen Händler 700 - 900 Euro. Der pure Wahnsinn. In einem Blindtest mit einem Supra EFF (für 170 Euro) konnte ich (an meinen Genelec 8351) keine reproduzierbaren Unterschiede feststellen. Retoure!

Artikel schnell und sicher erhalten.Artikel kam in Originalverpackung.Verpackung war wohl schonmal geöffnet worden.Die Kabel zeigen aber keinerlei Gebrauchsspuren und funktionieren hervorragend.Da der Preis sehr günstig war, gebe ich 5 Sterne,obwohl im Angebot auf Amazon nicht ersichtlich wird, dass es sich wohl um Gebrauchtware ( Rückläufer ?) handelt.

Consegna effettuata in anticipo sul previsto.Il cavo non ha bisogno di presentazione ed è il top della serie Rivers di Audioquest.Dovrebbe strutturalmente corrispondere al cavo Wind della serie superiore Elements con l'assenza del dispositivo DBS. Cavo perfetto ed anche esteticamente bello... peccato finisca dietro ai componenti.Acusticamente parlando lo definirei equilibrato in ogni gamma di frequenza... e non è poco.
