The seller did refund, which is the only saving grace. Somebody else might have fallen for this though, which is bad! This was advertised as an elliptical nude diamond by the seller. An inspection with a simple magnifying glass revealed that what I got was the cheapest conical, mounted on the biggest shank I have ever seen! This is certainly no fine stylus, and isn't even worth 10 bucks, but they sell it for almost 50.

Installation was very straight-forward; and the new stylus works excellently. I hear more clicks and pops on my old vinyl records than I used to on the old stylus, but it was pretty worn and maybe didn't reach as deep into the grooves as the new one. I expext it will decrease in time with this new stylus. Anyway, I would recommend this stylus.

I got a at 12 pro with a headshell I needed but was missing a stylus. I have never heard a 2 magnet audio technica so I was looking at trying a stylus without spending a lot of money. Elliptical are more expensive as the are harder to make than a conical. The original was a 4x7 mil, this is 3x7 even a little better. So smaller is better for most lp's. And the sound is quite impressive. Sometimes a vintage cart can sound better than newer ones. It should last 1000 hours or more as it is a fairly light tracker. Glad I bought one.

This product has worked very well in my old but goody Technics turn table. Shipment was prompt and the product meet specs. I would rate it excellent but the diamond seems small and I don't know how long it will last, but then the price was very reasonable so even short life might be ok.
