The Prima APBX 10 AS Active Subwoofer with 25 cm (10') driver features a dedicated high-performance amplifier module that extends all passive box technologies, such as 2S² (2 Sides/2 Sound) design, Plug & Play connection block and ultra compact.
The amplifier module, with performance of 400 watts RMS with the technology developed - Li (High Efficiency/Low Impedance) which, thanks to the absence of the DC voltage amplifier with an impressive efficiency of 90% efficiency, is very close to the theoretical limit of class D.
The elimination of the voltage amplifier was possible thanks to the development of the new dual-coil drivers, which bristle the entire technological background of the primary subwoofers, but stand out for their extremely low impedance (0.16 ohms for APBX 10 AS).
This feature ensures perfect synergy with He-Li (High Efficiency Low Impedance) technology that combines amplifier, speaker and sealed housing to achieve low, loud and sharp frequencies.
The control range is complete and provides optimal control of low frequency emissions in the cab. Butterworth Low Pass Filter at 12 dB / byte. with variable limit frequency (50-200 Hz) can be bypassed when used with a pre-output AP processor assigned to the subwoofer. With the adjustable bass controller (0÷ 6 dB) at 45 Hz, the user can highlight the playback at the bottom of the spectrum.
The high-level input for speakers on a multi-pole connector simplifies integration with OEM audio systems, while the low-level RCA input is for connecting with secondary sources. The automatic on/off function of the subwoofer ART (Automatic Remote Turn-On) can be configured in such a way that it is via the remote control signal of the source,

Accurate bass, fully capable to pumping up bass (in my Macan) to my liking even when I placed the bass underneath the trunk making it completely invisible and not wasting any trunk space. Highly recommend to install the sub with extra sound deadening to enhance the quality

Wurde in meinem Golf 3 verbaut.Also für die Ausmaße dieses Subwoofers einfach nur WOWHab jetzt sämtliche Lautsprecher im Golf gegen Audison Lautsprecher ausgetauscht und betreibe diese mit deinem DSP Verstärker. Über den Subwoofer Ausgang des DSP Verstärkers betreibe ich den Audison APBX 10 AS. Funktioniert alles Problemlos. Bassqualität mehr als ausreichend.Vorzuheben ist auch der Spannungsversorgungsstecker des Subwoofers.Klare Kaufempfehlung

Zuvor hatte ich eine Bassreflex-Box im Kofferraum, größerer Teller, gleiche Leistungsangaben; Dieser Subwoofer hier steht dem in wirklich Nichts nach, ist in einigen Frequenzbereichen sogar besser und klarer.Macht guten Druck, das hätte man von einem geschlossenen System nicht erwartet.Sieht edel aus und spart auch noch viel Platz.Das einzige was WIRKLICH blöd war;Um die Füße anzubringen muss man 4 Blindstofen entfernen. Davon sind 3 beim abziehen gebrochen und der Schaft steckte weiter im Gewinde fest..War ne super Arbeit - da jetzt ne Kleine schraube ins Plastik zu drehen um den Kram so endlich rausziehen zu können.Das kann auch der kalten Jahreszeit geschuldet sein, aber an solchen Kleinigkeiten sollte man eigentlich nicht sparen.Trotzdem volle 5 Sterne, Verarbeitung und Klang sind hervorragend und das Teil war jeden Euro wert.
