These work great with permanent markers, I prefer the way the color comes out when you put it on the textured "frosted" side.

Good fun, wanted to make some name badges and remember having fun with this as a kid so thought I'd try this one. The description says it shrinks to 20% original size (not BY 20% as one reviewer thought it said). It's more like it shrinks to 40% original size (i.e. something that starts 10cm ends up about 4cm) so if you go by their description you'll end up with your work being twice the size you're expecting. Otherwise good fun and shrinking makes colours more intense. Can also be printed on in a laser printer.

Suuuper um Pins herzustellen. Anleitung ist sehr akkurat und kinderleicht nachzumachen. Klare Kaufempfehlung für DIY Fans. Pins kommen als Geschenke sehr gut an.

My son loves drawing pictures and making keychains for friends and family. I will say, it seems like the end result is never COMPLETELY flat. Tends to have a little lip around the edges, but nothing of concern and makes adorable little art pieces.

Ok, so I’ve gotten Shrinky Dinks before, the clear ones (because it was all the store had) but I sanded it myself so I was able to use them similarly to these. So I expected the same limitations:-don’t use too many layers or else it’ll warp (both for Posca AND colored pencils)-may need to quickly adjust pieces so they don’t stick to each otherBut I was pleasantly surprised when a piece that used a lot of layers (it got away from me, I had none of the right colors so I had to layer to get the right shades) not only 1) didn’t warp, it straightened out just fine, and didn’t curl in on and stick to itself 2) didn’t have anyone near as fuzzy a texture as I’ve had past pieces be!I mean yeah there was still a bit of it, but nothing that took away from the image. I’ve had previous designs with about the same or even less layers look way more messed up than these came out.It was a pleasant surprise!I can’t say for certain if the difference was just in the plastic’s texture (since I didn’t sand this one myself) or if it was something else, but so far I really love how it’s reacting to multiple layers! If it keeps it up I may have to get these all the time. They were smaller than I thought they’d be, but that’s on me for not checking the size before ordering 😅

Bon produit pas de soucis mais... préciser le format A5 serait utile et pratique pour les étourdis comme moi qui ne font pas attention aux mesures... et se trouvent avec des feuilles trop petites.... ;)

I usually never write reviews but after messing around with these with a friend, I thought it would help some people.First and foremost, these are good. They work, and I think they work great, but then again I've never bought other Shrinky Dinks. Here are some tips if you decide to buy them yourself. They shrink to about half, maybe even 1/3 of the original size. So if your original piece is 4 inches, your final product will be around 2, or 1.33 inches. You can use sharpie, colored pencils, and paint markers. The sheets obviously have two sides. One clear and the other... "milky". Bruh I'm not sure what to call it. If you use sharpie, color on the clear side. If you use colored pencils/paint marker, use the milky side. You can use both medias in order to create a "layered" effect. When they shrink, colors are a lot more visible. Notice UFO mator. Also ignore weed-chan.If you use paint markers MAKE SURE YOUR LAYER IS THIN. IF IT ISNT, WHEN IT SHRINKS YOUR PAINT IS GOING TO CHIP AND ITS WEIRD.finish these pieces with resin or mod podge. These made great gifts and even entertained me and my friend, we're literally 17. Get these for your kids or something:)

This stuff is fab! It is translucent so you can trace other images if you want. It took me a few goes to get the size ratios right. The instructions inside tell you that it will shrink by 20% but I would say it shrinks a whole lot more than that. For reference, I drew a picture that was approx 10cm x 10cm and it shrank to about 3cm x 3cm.The instructions are also not super clear about the shrinking process so I ended up ruining my first couple designs which was annoying. Please note, when you put them in the oven at around 160c, ignore the time frame they give you, DO NOT remove them when your timer goes off at two minutes UNLESS they look perfect. I went by the time and removed my pieces but they were all curled up. Once they are removed from the oven, you cannot reheat them and start the process again, they very quickly harden and you will be left with a curled up monstrosity of your original drawing... Instead, place them in the oven, keeping a heavy flat object(I used a small dictionary) to hand, watch them shrink and curl up in the oven but LEAVE them a bit longer and you will see them begin to slowly flatten back out again. Take them out the oven and quickly press down with your book to even out any sneaky little bumpy bits before it goes solid.
