It’s beautiful, but when I went to wash it to use, it immediately smelled like nail polish remover or some other kind of toxin I don’t feel comfortable eating.

This is a nice wooden bowl ( mango wood as per the description) and has a nice white coating that makes it glossy. Comes with two mixing utensils. The size is very good and we are using this regularly for our dinner salads. They are elegant enough to be both for preparation and serving.

Saw this on a high end website for a lot more money. It’s a perfect dupe!! High quality, fast delivery, and just beautiful. I love finding high quality dupes on Amazon and if I didn’t know it I would think it’s the one from the high cost supplier.

This salad bowl set is absolutely gorgeous. The craftsmanship is flawless. The bowl is thick and solid. The utensils have a nice heft to them. I chose to reserve it for entertaining, not every day use, to preserve the lacquered finish. I also handwash it and dry it immediately. I fear that any standing liquid would eventually cause the laquer to crack.

It’s beautiful Bowl and I’ve gotten many compliments. The wood outside and ceramic inside is unique. I’ve used for pasta and green salads so far. Hand cleaning has been quick and easy

This is a beautiful, good-sized bowl. The material on the inside is great (very "slippery") for tossing and dressing greens. It doubles as a fruit bowl in my pantry when not in use.I recommend buying only if you like the bowl but don't care about the utensils. Or at least inspecting them if you are gifting. I ended up tossing the "fork" and don't know how much good I will find the single spoon.The "fork" is just a second spoon with slits cut out (which would be fine), but the cuts were not clean, and the wood was splintering off horribly. I tried to pull and trim off the splintered pieces, but it just made it worse, and I couldn't get to all of them, and I would always be worried that a piece would dislodge during use and end up in someone's gum or tongue. The manufacturer should just switch to two spoons. (I can't imagine the "fork" "prongs" would make much of a difference when tossing anyway.)As far as the bowl goes, I like it--though it should be noted that it has a "handcrafted" look about it. For my taste, it is functional and attractive, though I do question the value for price.

I loved the look of this bowl. However, the white surface is highly absorbent and they stain easily.
