This 80wt thread is very fine indeed but perfect for EPP - stitches just cannot be seen. Because of it's fineness was concerned about it's strength but, so far so good - it does need an equally fine needle, a #9 or above. For me Aurifil is worth the cost.

The thread is great, but I feel like I got ripped off because I have found the thread cheaper in several other stores. This is a very fine thread 80wt. and good color.

Used for making a hexie blanket, good quality doesn't break as often as other cottons, no snagging and really smooth to work with

Favorite thread. I feel like it’s the only one that doesn’t break or bother my machine. Fast shipping. Nice packing.

If you don't know, Aurifil is a high quality cotton thread. It is thin, well spun, low lint thread that is strong and is great for piecing (my favorite) and quilting, and for garments if that's your speed too. Dove gray is my most neutral, light gray for blending with all sorts of light color fabrics.

I find this lightweight thread perfect for hiding stitches in English paper piecing while being sturdy enough for secure stitching.

This thread has a smooth and extremely even twist, I use it in my sewing machine and have not had a problem with lint or breaks. However the price is ridiculous.
